Overview
This article explains how to manage distribution groups using St. Lawrence Webmail.
Instructions
- Log in to the St. Lawrence Webmail using these instructions: https://stlawu.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/1805/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=94741
- In the upper right-hand corner, click on the icon that looks like a gear and select "Options."
- Click on the little arrow next to "General" to expand the menu, then click "Distribution groups."
- Here you will see the Distribution groups you belong to on the left and the Distribution groups you own on the right.
Managing distribution groups, you are a member of.
- In the menu on the left, you can manage the groups in which you are a member.
- To view the details of a group, click the pencil icon.
- To join a group, click the icon with the "+" symbol, select the group from the menu that appears, and click the symbol with the "+" again. Note that most distribution groups at St. Lawrence require you to be invited and you cannot add yourself with this method.
- To remove yourself from a group, select the group you would like to leave on the list, then click the icon with the "-" symbol and then confirm "Yes " to leave the group. Note that you cannot leave some groups also note that you may not be able to rejoin a group without being re invited by the owner of that group.
Managing distribution groups that you own or manage.
- In the menu on the right, select the group that you would like to edit and click on the pencil icon.
- This will open a new window that will allow you to adjust ownership, membership, approval settings, and many other options.
