Windows 10 and 11 Instructions
Navigate to the bottom right hand corner of your screen and click on the Wi-Fi icon.
Select the wireless network you'd like to set as your default.
If using windows 11, you must select the menu option next to the Wi-Fi icon to bring up the wireless network list
Check the box that says "Connect Automatically"
This will automatically move the network to the top of your priority list.
Please, unless you are using a gaming or streaming device, do NOT use SLU-Gamer or SLU-Devices as your default network. We recommend using Eduroam as the primary network connection on your computer or phone while you are on campus.
Mac OS Instructions
Navigate to the top left corner of your screen and click on the Wi-Fi icon in your menu bar.
Click "Network Preferences...", the very last option.
Make sure "Wi-Fi" is highlighted in the pane on the left and click "Advanced".
Make sure you are under the "Wi-Fi" tab at the top.
Re-arrange your wireless networks by simply clicking and dragging them.
The networks at the top are the highest priority and will be used before all of the other networks below it.
Please, unless you are using a gaming or streaming device, do NOT use SLU-Gamer or SLU-Devices as your default network. We recommend using Eduroam as the primary network connection on your computer or phone while you are on campus.
