Accessing Webmail
To access the Exchange Online (Office 365) Outlook Webmail:
- Navigate to https://outlook.office365.com
- Enter your St. Lawrence email address
- Click Next
- Enter your St. Lawrence password
- Click Sign in
- Complete the authentication request. If you are on a personal computer, check the box reading Don't ask for another 90 days. If you are on a public computer or a computer with multiple users, uncheck this box.
Navigating in Webmail
Menu
The Menu icon is the grid-like icon in the top-left of your window
- Clicking the Menu icon will show various Microsoft Web Applications that you can use such as
- Word
- PowerPoint
- Excel
- Outlook
- Etc.
Viewing Email
Previews for email messages will appear in the middle left window pane.
Clicking on one of these Previews will open the email in the large right window pane.
The Mail, Calendar, People, Groups, To Do, and OneDrive icons are on the left side of the window.
Calendar
Click on the Calendar icon on the left side of Webmail to view your calendar.
Use the Calendar in the Folder Pane to navigate between different dates and months.
Clicking New Event opens the New Calendar Entry Window. Enter the details for your calendar appointment, and click the Save Icon in the top-left of the window.
Clicking Add Calendar will allow you to create a new calendar, add another user's calendar to your own calendar, and more.
Clicking Share will allow you share your calendar through an email invite.
- Supply the email address of the person you want to share your current calendar with
- Click on Share
- Under People inside your organization, choose your preferred calendar visibility. Options include:
- Not shared
- Can view when I'm busy
- Can view titles and locations
- Can view all details
- Can edit
Clicking Day, Work week, Week, or Month will change the main calendar view to your preference.
