Mac Instructions
- While in the Skype for Business app, click Skype for Business in the bar at the top and click Preferences.
- Click on the Audio/Video button.
- If you want to change which microphone that Skype for Business uses, click the drop-down menu next to Microphone and click the desired device.
- If the other person(s) in your call cannot hear you, try changing the Microphone selection.
- If desired, you can have calls in Skype for Business ring with a different speaker/set of headphones than is used to play the sound during the call. To change either of these, click the drop-down menu next to either Ringing or Speakers and click the desired device.
- If you cannot hear the other person(s) in your call, try changing the Speakers selection.
- When you have finished making changes, you can close the Audio/Video window.
PC Instructions
- In the Skype for Business app, click the Settings button. (The icon on the top right that looks like a gear.)
- In the "Skype for Business - Options" window that pops up, click Audio Devices in the list on the left.
- If you want to change which microphone that Skype for Business uses, click the drop-down menu next to Microphone and click the desired device.
- If the other person(s) in your call cannot hear you, try changing the Microphone selection.
- If desired, you can have calls in Skype for Business ring with a different speaker/set of headphones than is used to play the sound during the call. To change either of these, click the drop-down menu next to either Ringer or Speaker and click the desired device.
- If you cannot hear the other person(s) in your call, try changing the Speaker selection.
- When you are finished making changes, click OK.
