How to create a shortcut to a website in Windows

  1. Navigate to the website for which you would like to make a shortcut.
  2. In the address bar, copy the URL of the website.
  3. On your desktop, right click on an empty space, and click "New" -> "Shortcut".
  4. In the space labeled "Type the location of the item", paste the URL of the desired website.
  5. Click "Next"
  6. Enter a name for the shortcut that will help you remember where it leads.
