Accessing Fathom 2

Overview

The statistics software Fathom 2 is accessible to students on their personal computers when run from the N:\apps network drive. The student or staff member must be connected to eduroam, our wired network, or GlobalProtect VPN, if off-campus.

Windows

  • Navigate to \\saint\apps\Menu\SLU Network Menu\Software for Courses\Statistics
  • Launch the program from the Fathom 2 shortcut
  • You may place this shortcut on your Desktop for ease of access

Mac

  • Navigate to \\saint\apps\Menu\SLU Network Menu\Software for Courses\Statistics\fathom211.macintosh
  • Run the application
  • Ctrl + Click the Fathom Icon that appears in the dock, and click Options > Keep in Dock
