Rebuild Outlook Search Catalog

Overview

The search function sometimes stops working in Outlook. Rebuilding the index can fix the issue.

Rebuild Index

  • Open Outlook
  • Click File 
  • Click Options
  • Select Search
  • Click Indexing Options
  • Click Advanced
  • Click Index Settings
  • Click Troubleshooting
  • Click Rebuild
