Using IClicker Classic in a Canvas Course

Note: SLU supports the use of both iClicker Classic and iClicker Cloud:

• iClicker Cloud (Preferred)
  • Does not require an iClicker Base Station or physical iClicker Remotes
  • Students use the iClicker App on their smartphone or device, or their iclicker.com account on their computer
  • Can be used with remote instruction

• iClicker Classic
  • Requires that an iClicker Base has been setup in your classroom.  Submit an IT Service Request if a base is needed
  • Work with the Brewer Bookstore to ensure iClicker Remotes are available for your students
  • Requires all participants to be present in the same physical space
• Submit an IT Service Request if you would like to explore which system better fits your needs).

Adding iClicker Classic to your Canvas course:

• Settings > Navigation > (drag iClicker Registration fromt the lower listing of Diabled tools to the upper listing of Enabled tools) > Save
• Students will follow this link to register their iclicker remote for use with your course
