Accessing Resources and Apps via Single Sign-On

Notice

Information Technology is currently working on a project to change the specific method of Single Sign-On (SSO) being used for campus resources and applications.  Not all systems can be moved at the same time.  Thus, users may see one of two SSO experiences throughout the transition process.  Below you will find information regarding both of those experiences.

What is Single Sign-On? (SSO)

Single sign-on (SSO) is an authentication method that enables users to securely authenticate with multiple applications and websites by using just one set of credentials.

Current Single Sign-On Method

When logging into systems using SSO, users will be directed to the page in the image below where they will need to provide their St. Lawrence email address and password to authenticate.

New Single Sign-On (SSO) Method

When logging into systems using SSO, users will be directed to the page in the image below .  Here, users will:

  1. Enter their St. Lawrence Email Address
  2. Select Work or School Account - You may only see this step if you also have a personal Microsoft Account set up with your St. Lawrence Email address.
  3. Enter their St. Lawrence Password
