Access to Administrative Systems

Request access to one or more of the administrative systems used on campus including, but not limited to: Colleague, SAINTS (SLU) Portal, APR 2.0, Report Manager, CROA, EMS, Residence, Advocate, SLUWire, NYAlert (Everbridge), ImageNow, TMA, KRONOS, GLOAD, or SAINTS Legacy System

APR 2.0

APR 2.0 (aka Self-Service) stands for academic, planning, and registration. It is the course planning and registration system for advisors and students. Students can chart their course path semesters in advance and consult with their advisor.

For assistance with planning and registration, including issues with holds and permissions, please contact your advisor, the Academic Advising office or the Registrar's office.

Colleague is SLU's enterprise resource planning system that houses student, employee, and financial data for the University. It is licensed from Ellucian and is used to support the processes of multiple offices throughout campus. Colleague is composed of four major components (Core, Student, Colleague Finance, and Human Resources) and is accessible through a User Interface (UI) online application. Access to Colleague is only granted to those employees who need it to fulfill the responsibilities of their positions. Approval for access is granted by department heads.


EMS is the room scheduling software used by St. Lawrence where faculty and staff can go to reserve a room on campus. Each room is listed with photos and a description of its contents including the technology supplied. Additional facilities equipment or technology can also be requested if necessary. All reservations will be confirmed via email. Students are not able to reserve rooms through the EMS software. Students who would like to reserve a group meeting space should contact SLU username and password should be used to log in to EMS.

Colleague Reporting and Operating Analytics called CROA, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) called Report Manager, and Synoptix

SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS or Report Manager) is a server-based report generating software system that is accessible via a Web interface. It is used by many departments to prepare a variety of reports.

Colleague Reporting and Operating Analytics (CROA) is the reporting tool supported by Ellucian to create reports and queries so the data generated from Colleague is presented in a professional manner that can be easily understood.


The Saints Portal is where employees enter their time, check their benefits, and access their W2s, as well as other administrative information.

Faculty go here to enter mid-term and final grades, access class rosters and provide search by sections for course availability.

Students see grades, review and accept financial aid and scholarships, can review course catalog, access your 1098-T, or submit transcript requests.
