How to change or reset the view in Outlook for PC

Click on one of the choices below to view the contents.

New Outlook
  1. Click the View tab. 
  2. Click the more options button in the top right (...). 
  3. Click Customize. 
    • NOTE: you can also customize your toolbar, layout, and other Outlook features here.
  4. Click Reset in the bottom left. 
  5. Click Save. 
Legacy Outlook 
  1. Click the View tab.
  2. Under View Settings, you can make changes to the individual elements of Outlook.
  3. If you’d like to reset the view to its default, click on Reset View.
  4. If someone would like their reading pane moved or turned off, you can make those changes via the “Reading Pane” button.
