Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Use of the University's network system or any of its components renders the user subject to, and constitutes the user's agreement to abide by, this Policy.

Compliance with Higher Education Act Peer-to-Peer File Sharing Requirements

H.R 4137, the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA), is a reauthorization of the Higher Education Act. It includes provisions that are designed to reduce the illegal uploading and downloading of copyrighted works through peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing.

Mass Communications Policy

This policy is intended to guide communication of information from a person, group or organization to members of our campus community.

The purpose of this policy is to ensure the availability and security of the St. Lawrence University wireless communications infrastructure as well as the security and protection of information assets transmitted through this network.

Wireless Communication Standard

This standard specifies the technical requirements related to wireless communications and infrastructure at St. Lawrence University. The majority of restrictions for wireless communications is related to sensitive and protected university information, which is defined in the University Data Classification Policy.
