VPN

Our virtual private network (VPN) provides secure access to campus resources from off campus. Since connecting to the VPN encrypts your network traffic, we recommended users connect to the VPN while accessing the Internet from unsecure public WiFi hotspots (eg, airports, hotels, cafés, etc). Connecting to the VPN may be required before using some campus resources from off campus. If your Internet service provider (ISP) provides you with a wireless router, it must have the proper VPN protocol enabled or allowed.
