VPN (Virtual Private Network)

Information

Our virtual private network (VPN) provides secure access to campus resources from off-campus. Since connecting to the VPN encrypts your network traffic, we recommend users connect to the VPN while accessing the Internet from unsecured public WiFi hotspots (such as airports, hotels, cafés, etc.). Connecting to the VPN may be required before using some campus resources from off campus. If your Internet service provider (ISP) provides you with a wireless router, the proper VPN protocol must be enabled or allowed.

St Lawrence University uses GlobalProtect VPN from Palo Alto Networks. For configuration instructions, look in Related Articles.
