How to Enable Legacy TLS Settings in Firefox, ListServ

This article gives instructions for how to change your settings in Firefox to use legacy TLS settings. Only do this if you have been instructed to do so.

  • Only change these settings if website requires legacy TLS and you recognize the website as genuine.

Instructions

  1. In the URL bar enter about:config 
  2. Click Accept the Risk and Continue 
  3. In the search bar enter security.tls.version.enable-deprecated 
  4. Hit the toggle button to change the setting from false to true. 
  5. Close and reopen Firefox.
