Please Note
These instructions are only applicable to the Windows version of Skype for Business.
Assign a Delegate
- In Skype for Business, click on the Options button (the button in the top right that looks like a gear).
- Click Call Forwarding in the list on the left.
- Click Edit my delegate members.
- In the window that pops up, click Add.
- Search for the person you want to answer your calls and click on them to highlight their name.
- Click OK.
- In the "Call Forwarding - Delegates" window, click OK.
- In the "Skype for Business - Options" window, click OK.
Remove a Delegate
- In Skype for Business, click on the Options button (the button in the top right that looks like a gear).
- Click Call Forwarding in the list on the left.
- Click Edit my delegate members.
- In the window that pops up, under "Receive Calls", click on the name of the person you wish to remove as a delegate.
- Click Remove.
- Click OK.
- In the "Call Forwarding - Delegates" window, click OK.
- In the "Skype for Business - Options" window, click OK.
Change when your Delegates will see your Phone Ringing
- In Skype for Business, click on the Options button (the button in the top right that looks like a gear).
- Click Call Forwarding in the list on the left.
- Under "Your current call forwarding settings", to the right of "These settings will apply", you can click the blue text listed.
- In the window that pops up, choose "All the time" or "During work hours set in Outlook".
- Click Ok.
- Click Edit my delegate members.
- In the drop-down menu next to "Ring your delegates after this many seconds", choose the length of time you wish to set.
- Click OK.
- In the "Call Forwarding - Delegates" window, click OK.
- In the "Skype for Business - Options" window, click OK.
