Call Controls in Skype for Business

Summary

Instructions for how to place a call on hold and transfer a call in Skype for Business.

Body

Put the Phone on Hold

  1. If you do not see the Hold and Transfer buttons, click or tap on the Call Controls button.
  2. Click or Tap on Hold.
  3. The other line will be placed on hold. To resume the call, click Resume Call.

Transfer a Call

  1. If you do not see the Hold and Transfer buttons, click or tap on the Call Controls button.
  2. Click or Tap on Transfer.
  3. In the search bar, type in the number or extension to which you wish to transfer the person on the line.
  4. Click on the number or extension below the search bar.
  5. Click Transfer.
