Navigate to the website for which you would like to make a shortcut.
In the address bar, copy the URL of the website.
On your desktop, right click on an empty space, and click "New" -> "Shortcut".
In the space labeled "Type the location of the item", paste the URL of the desired website.
Click "Next"
Enter a name for the shortcut that will help you remember where it leads.
Click "Finish"
