Maple Installation

Installing Maple for Windows

  • Pull up the Start Menu
  • In the Search Box, type \\saint\installs$ and then press Enter
  • Double click on the Maple folder
  • Double click on the 2019 folder
  • Now double click on Maple2019.1WindowsX64Installer
  • When you see the Security Warning pop-up asking "Do you want to run this file?" Click Run
  • Click Yes for the User Account Control prompt
  • Click Next, Accept the License Agreement, click Next, Next, and Next
  • Choose Network License and click Next
  • Choose Single Server and click Next again
  • Enter license.stlawu.local as the License Server and make sure the Port Number is 27000 then click Next
  • You may optionally check for updates at this time, to immediately begin the installation uncheck the Check for Updates Now box and click Next
  • Click Next and allow the installer to run, and then click Finish

Installing Maple for Mac

  • First, click on your Desktop, then click Go tab along the top of your screen and click on Connect to Server
  • In the Server Address Field, type smb://saint/installs$
  • Double click on the Maple folder
  • Double click on the 2019 folder
  • Double click on Maple2019.1MacInstaller.dmg
  • Once the .dmg file opens, double click Maple2019.1MacInstaller
  • You may be prompted to install Java if it is missing. Many Maple features require Java
  • Click Next, Accept the License Agreement, click Next, and Next
  • Choose Network License and click Next
  • Choose Single Server and click Next again
  • Enter license.stlawu.local as the License Server and make sure the Port Number is 27000 then click Next
  • You may optionally check for updates at this time, to immediately begin the installation uncheck the Check for Updates Now box and click Next
  • Click Next and allow the installer to run, and then click Finish
