Configure VPN on Android

  1. Navigate to the Settings Menu
  2. In the Wireless and Networks section, tap VPN
  3. Tap + in the upper-right corner of the screen
  4. Fill in the following information as required
  • Name: SLU VPN
  • Type: Select L2TP/IPSec PSK
  • Server Address:
  • L2TP secret: Leave this blank
  • IPSec Identifier: Leave this blank
  • IPSe Pre-Shared Key: stlawu
  • Enter your St. Lawrence Network user name and password
  • Tap Save

VPN is now configured on your phone.  To connect: follow steps 1-4 and then tap on SLU VPN, and then Connect. Open the Microsoft Authenticator App and approve the notification.

Remember that you cannot connect to the VPN while on a St. Lawrence University wireless network.
