Plan Course Schedule in APR2

Overview

This article explains how students register for and drop courses on APR 2.0. The course registration process is a three step process:

  1. Meet with your adviser
  2. Plan your schedule
  3. Register for courses

Courses can only be added or dropped during registration periods.

Finding a Course

  1. Go to https://apr2.stlawu.edu
  2. Log in with your St. Lawrence username and password
  3. Click Student Planning
  4. Under the Student Planning  drop-down menu, click Course Catalog*
  5. Search the Course Catalog* for any courses you may want to register for

* The course catalog lists all courses offered at St. Lawrence even if sections are not currently available for registration.

Adding Course to Plan or Schedule

In consultation with their adviser, students can plan their schedules many semesters in advance.

  • To add a course to your plan that you will likely take in the future, select Add Course to Plan
    • Example: Miriam is a first year student and chemistry major. She knows that Organic Chemistry is in her future, but not during her first year. She can add that course to her plan for her sophomore or junior year
  • To add a section to your schedule that you intend to register for during the upcoming registration period, click the orange View Available Sections bar to display the sections available for the course* and select Add Section to Schedule
    • Example: Miriam is a first year student and chemistry major. She's currently taking General Chemistry 1 and plans to take General Chemistry 2 next semester. She can add that section to her schedule in preparation for the upcoming registration.

* The course catalog lists all courses offered at St. Lawrence even if sections are not currently available for registration.
